Serum Cortisol and Polyunsaturated Fats

This old study from the Hôpital Xavier Bichat, Paris, France, reveals increasing concentrations of unsaturated fats and cortisol in the blood of AIDS patients as their disease progresses. Polyunsaturated fats and cortisol are both highly immunosuppressive substances conducive to T cell depletion, according to another study at this same hospital.
